Marilyn J. Raypole, 81, Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Michigan City, IN passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:16 pm in Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Private family services will take place with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, Indiana
is handling arrangements.
She was born March 15, 1935 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late William and Anita (Bendix ) Field. In Michigan City, Indiana on March 24, 1962 she married Donald Raypole, who preceded her in death on February 21, 1996.
Surviving are two daughters, Julia (Daryl ) Stanko of Irwin, Pennsylvania and Kimberly Raypole of Fort Wayne, Indiana; son, George Balinsky of Houston, Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren, Zachary Stanko and Marissa Novak.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Esbrook.
Mrs. Raypole retired in 1996 from Anco Mfg. and was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Marilyn enjoyed crocheting, reading books, especially Steven King, watching movies, playing board and card games, bird watching, coloring, listening to big band music and playing music in the bell choir at Hamilton Grove, New Carlisle, Indiana.
