Judy L. Newkirk, 54, Kingsford Heights, Indiana, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 12:15 pm in Indiana University Health LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, IN.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Randy Cook officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am -11:00 am, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. Cremation will take place.
She was born January 30, 1961 in La Porte, IN to the late Clarence A. Newkirk and Yvonne (Davis) Newkirk who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also surviving are Brother, Mark (Justine) Newkirk Sr. of Michigan City, IN; Sister, Barb (Chuck) Shepherd of Michigan City, IN; Nephew, Mark Newkirk, Jr. of Michigan City, IN; Special-Friend, Rhonda Smith of La Porte, IN; She was preceded in death by Father, Clarence A. Newkirk.
Judy was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Salem Heights, IN. She enjoyed going to church activities and spending time with her friends, especially her two cats, "Molly" and "Minny". She was also involved in childcare for many years.
