Jerry L. Mayfield, 65, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 1:04 am in Franciscan St. Anthony Health - Michigan City, IN.
There will be no service or visitation. Cremation will take place. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
He was born May 29, 1951 in La Porte, IN to the late Kenneth Mayfield and Verna B. (Shidler) Calhoon.
Surviving are two sons, Tim and Terry both of Michigan City, IN; two brothers, Jim (Mary Jane) Mayfield of Michigan City, IN, Danny (Brenda) Calhoon of Plymouth, IN; two sisters, Carla (Dean) Cook of Napoleon, MI, Brenda Perry of Michigan City, IN. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Mayfield.
Jerry worked maintenance at Great Deals on Wheels in Michigan City. He enjoyed going to Knuckleheads Sports Bar-Grill, dancing, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his two Pit Bull dogs, "King Bubba" and "Diamond.
