Genevieve "Jennie" Osos, 89, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1:50 pm in Trail Creek Place, Michigan City, Indiana.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation hours will be Monday from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm and Tuesday from 8:30 am until 9:30 am at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.

She was born August 28, 1928 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Marcel and Ann (Wasilewski) Starobrat. On August 6, 1949 in Michigan City, Indiana she married William Osos who preceded her in death on October 6, 2006. Surviving are Son, Donald (Emylu) Osos of Columbia City, Indiana; Daughter, Deborah Osos of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; Four Grandchildren, Christopher (Martha) Osos of Deer Park, Illinois, Katherine Osos of Minneapolis, Minnesota, David (Crystal) Spohn Sr. of Knox, Indiana and Justin Spohn of Indianapolis, Indiana; Five Great-Grandchildren, William Osos, Annabelle Osos, David Spohn, Jr., Mackenzie Spohn and Noah Spohn; She was preceded in death by Two Sisters, Ceil Skonieczny, Helen Wroblewski and Brother, Stanley Starobrat;

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Michigan City, Indiana
