Eddie was among the most authentic people I have ever known. He was my #1` High School Classmate and a great friend. He was a kind and decent man. Friendship often exceeds the bonds of blood relatives. So it was with Ed for me. He had a marvelous sense of humor and a curiosity about so many elements. We had a great conversation less than 2 days before his passing. He left us with the reminder that we should never take anything for granted. May his family take solace in memories of his wonderful energy and spirit.
