Dolly (A. Louise) Marshall, 71, Michigan City, Indiana, formerly of Michiana Shores, passed away October 2, 2013 at 2:00 am in her home.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, October 7, 2013 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1010 Moore Road, Long Beach, IN with Rev. Keith McClellan officiating.  Cremation will follow services.  

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN and 9:15 a.m. until Mass time Monday at Notre Dame Catholic Church. A Vigil Service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Sunday in the Funeral Chapel.

She was born August 21, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to  the late Louis and Ann (Janecek) Czahor.  On April 25, 1964 in Chicago, IL she married  Paul Marshall who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are a daughter, Gabrielle Marshall of Michigan City, IN; son, Tyler Marshall of Michigan City, IN; sister, Lillian (Phil) Galloway of Homosassa, FL;  2 grandchildren, Veronica DeBone and Marshall DeBone, both of Michigan City, IN; and many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Diane Peyton and Joy Czahor; and a brother, Jerry Czahor.

She had been the director of the Lubeznik Center for the Arts and the assistant to the director of the John Blank Center for the Arts.

Dolly was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Tri Kappa Sorority, Art Goes to School, Notre Dame School Board, Rotarian, Monday Night Musicale and a Rosarian.
