Debbie Poole, 61, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at 8:25 pm in Hospice Franciscan Communities, Michigan City, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana with Pastor Dallas Wingo officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
She was born July 3, 1956 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Donald and Lucille (Thode) Solner.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Poole of Michigan City, Indiana; daughter, Donielle (Jeff) Moore of LaPorte, Indiana; two sons, Brandon Poole and Jonathon Poole, both of Michigan City, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Justice, Anna, Julianna, Isabella, Jon, Ellie anf Jordan; and her sister, Nancy Kuta of Columbus, Ohio.
Debbie had worked for the Michigan City Area Schools for 27 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, watching Notre Dame football and loved crafts especially painting ceramics. Debbie also loved spending time with her grandchildren playing games and putting together puzzles with them.
