David Allan Bell, 60, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 3:00 a.m. in Hospice Franciscan St. Anthony Health - Michigan City, IN.

There will be no visitation or service. Cremation will take place. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born August 8, 1956 in Michigan City, IN to the late Richard O. and Ann E.(Liedtke) Bell. On September 23, 1976 in Michigan City, IN he married Roberta "Lynn" (Rinkle) Bell who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are two daughters, Amanda Bell of Michigan City, IN, Brandy (Mark) Farrow of Michigan City, IN; five sisters, Diane Riley of Michigan City, IN, Joyce (Richard Morrow) Human of La Porte, IN, Kathy (Steve) Cannon of Michigan City, IN, Kim (Marty) Bajza of Michigan City, IN, Michelle Bell of Michigan City, IN; four Brothers, Richard Bell of Michigan City, IN, Jeff Bell of Michigan City, IN, Christopher Bell of Michigan City, IN, Michael (Michelle) Bell of Michigan City, IN; five grandchildren, Kayla Farrow, Emily Thatcher, Hannah Farrow, Freddy Farrow, Akiah Thatcher; great-grandchild, Greyson Cannon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandchild, Arthur Thatcher.

David worked for over 20 years under the direction of William Thorton at the Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets in Michigan City. He also worked for 5 years at Jewel Osco in Michigan City. He enjoyed working on cars, mowing grass, and playing music. He liked listening to Elvis Presley and watching John Wayne.
