Cecilia G. Foldenauer, 95, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 11:32 pm in her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Walter Rakoczy officiating. Entombment will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 am -10:30 am, Thursday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.
She was born January 25, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Barton and Angeline (Puzia) Kolasa. On October 8, 1938 in Michigan City, IN she married Richard V. Foldenauer, Sr. who preceded her on February 22, 1998.
Surviving are six daughters, Carol (Ron) Lakowski of Michigan City, IN, Patricia (Ralph) Wright of Napa, CA, Connie Potempa of Michigan City, IN, Bonnie (Jim) Heyne of Michigan City, IN, Theresa Archer of Tucson, AZ, and Mary Lou (Bill) Davis of Michigan City, IN; two sons, Richard V. Foldenauer, Jr. of Michigan City, IN, Ronald (Anna) Foldenauer of Otis, IN; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Zolvinski and Julia Zolvinski; and two brothers, Michael Kolasa and Anthony Kolasa.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed baking, canning and gardening.
