Mr. Bruno Uryga, Sr., 99, of Gleason, Wisconsin passed away on December 31, 2014. He was born on December 14, 1915 in Chicago, IL the son of John Uryga and Rose (Dzicdizie) Uryga.

Bruno spent his time at his home in San Benito, TX along with his wife Gladys (Gross) Uryga. His summers were spent in Gleason, WI at a family cottage and wintered in San Benito, TX. You would either find Bruno reading, listening to music or dancing. At his age he rarely missed a chance to dance.

Bruno retired after 32 years working at Modine Manufacturing Co. in LaPorte, IN. He graduated from Purdue North Central University with a degree in Modern Management. He was a member of Queen of All Saints Church, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Family Center #980 of Michigan City, IN, a member of Polish National Alliance Dance Group and a charter member of Coolspring volunteer fire department in Waterford, IN.

He is survived by his wife Gladys who he married in 2011. Also surviving him are his sons, Bruno (Kim) Uryga, Jr., Robert (Leona) Uryga, Richard Uryga, John (Rachel) Uryga, Joseph (Joyce) Uryga and Calvin (Debbie) Gross and daughters Rosemary (Bob) Eaton and Susan (Phillip) Herbig, 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Bruno is preceded in death by his parents, Wanda his wife of 62 loving years and a daughter, Wanda.

Services were held in San Benito, TX. A memorial service and internment will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, IN at a later date, beside his beloved wife, Wanda, of 62 years. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling local arrangements.
