Brigitte E. Ludwig, 86, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 11:00 pm in her home.
Committal Prayers will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Serenity Chapel with Dr. Rev. Gwendolyn Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
She was born January 26, 1931 in Coburg, Germany to the late Alfred and Hedwig Schwamm. In 1955 in Michigan City, IN she married William Ludwig who survives in Trail Creek, IN.
Also surviving are a daughter, Christina (Gary) Kraemer of Trail Creek, IN; and her son, Niklas Ludwig of Minneapolis, MN.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Ludwig; and two sisters, Waltraud Gleich and Marlise Pittroff.
Brigitte was a loving wife and mother who had a great appreciation for the arts. A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever. We were all touched deeply by the joy and beauty of Brigitte.
