Barbara A. Zeedyk, 77, New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at 4:45 pm in Hamilton Communities, New Carlisle, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 pm, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Chaplain Robert Puhr officiating. Private burial will take place in Patten Cemetery, LaPorte, IN. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm - 6:30 pm, Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born January 19, 1941 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late Herbert and Edna (Norman) Tarnow.

Surviving are two sons, Allen Zeedyk of Rolling Prairie, IN and Rodney (Michael Ray) Zeedyk of Pelham, AL; daughter, Caprice Moore of LaPorte, IN; two grandchildren, Amber (Greg) Eckert of Valparaiso, IN and Shelby Zeedyk of Rolling Prairie, IN; Great-Grandchild, Kennedy Eckert of Valparaiso, IN; sister, Nancy Trafelet of LaPorte, IN; and brother, Ward Tarnow of LaPorte, IN.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Wayne Allen Zeedyk; sister, Louella Salisbury; and six brothers, Gordon, Gerald, Kenneth, Herbert, Harold and Floyd Tarnow.

Barb retired as a beautician at Creative Edge, South Bend, IN. She was an avid Notre Dame and Alan Jackson fan. Barb loved being with her family and enjoyed all of her clients and fun times with her friends.
