Allen R. "Tony" Campbell

Allen R. "Tony" Campbell, 75, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 1:38 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, February 9, 2018 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 730 W. 6th St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Rikardo Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN and from 11:00 am until service time Friday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
He was born May 30, 1942 in Abbeville, Louisiana to the late Rudolph and Vernice (Joiner) Campbell, Sr. On May 9, 1961 in Abbeville, LA he married Dorothy Garner who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also surviving are three daughters, Cassandra Campbell of Michigan City, IN, Amie (Steven) Morrow of Kalamazoo, MI and Anitra (Dwight) McMillon of Michigan City, IN; son, Napoleon Campbell of Oakland, CA; ten grandchildren, Taj, Democoa, Antonett, Vickia, Kotommie, Bryce, China, Eitan, Chase and Mia; great-grandchild, Kierston; three sisters, Mattie (Samuel) McGinnis, Bernice (Calvin) Broussard and Trula Campbell, all of Abbeville, LA; and four brothers, Calvin Campbell of Port Arthur, TX, Lee Arthur (Rosie) Campbell of Houston, TX, J.L. (Lula) Campbell of Michigan City, IN and Larry (Dorolita) Campbell of Oceanside, CA.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Marie Bolden and Shirley Rockette; and three brothers, Oris Jones, Youmeller Campbell and Rudolph Campbell, Jr.
Tony retired from Sandusky Abrasive and was a member of First Pentecostal Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed singing and was the lead singer of the Eyewitness Blues Band.
