Adele A. Rudnick, 87, Michigan City, Indiana passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 5:45 am in Franciscan St. Anthony Health - Michigan City

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1001 W. 8th, Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Dennis Blaney officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 am until 9:30 am in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born August 29, 1928 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Charles M. and Nora (Balady) Shikany. On September 9, 1950 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Richard Rudnick who preceded November 9, 1991. Surviving are Daughter, Janice (Gary) Wagner of La Porte, Indiana; Two Sons, Richard C. (Grazyna) Rudnick of Chesterfield, Missouri, Steve (Lisa) Rudnick of Michigan City, Indiana; Ten Grandchildren, Tracy Wagner, Angela (Brian) Williams, Kevin Rudnick, Brian Rudnick, Kristina Rudnick, Stephen Rudnick, Michael Rudnick, Juliana Rudnick, Victoria Zimmerman and Blake Zimmerman; Two Great-grandsons, Carter Williams, Everett Williams; Two Brothers, Asad "Ace" "Charlie" (Roxanne) Shikany of Chesterfield, Missouri, Michael (Durbin Lyons) Shikany of Michigan City, Indiana; Good Friend, Lil Yeater of Michigan City, Indiana; She was preceded in death by Two Sisters, Gloria Doperalski and Louise Cusick;

Mrs. Rudnick retired after 23 years as a Bookkeeper for General Insurance, Michigan City, Indiana.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Michigan City also serving on the pastoral council and the Syrian Ladies Aid Society of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
